Reno Couple Signs Deal to Open First Roni Deutch Tax Center in the Area
In 2009, local residents Ifidro and Norma Alejandrez were invited as special guests to attend the Roni Deutch Tax Center Franchise Convention in Reno to experience a day-in-the-life of being a franchise owner.
RENO, NV, May 20, 2010 /Franchise PR News/ -- In 2009, local residents Ifidro and Norma Alejandrez were invited as special guests to attend the Roni Deutch Tax Center Franchise Convention in Reno to experience a day-in-the-life of being a franchise owner. Now, one year later, they plan to return to that same convention as entrepreneurs, small business owners, and new Roni Deutch Tax Center franchisees.
During the Roni Deutch Tax Center convention last year, Ifidro and Norma received the VIP treatment from Roni Deutch, her staff, and franchise owners from across the country. Roni Deutch gave them a complimentary stay at the Peppermill Resort, Spa and Casino in Reno, and provided them with specific details of the Roni Deutch brand, what a Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise has to offer, gave them access to current franchise owners within the system, and helped facilitate their pursuit of small business ownership in Reno.
From that face-to-face connection and after seeing the franchise support structure, Ifidro and Norma were sold and they signed a deal to open their own Roni Deutch Tax Center in Reno, Nevada later this year. They plan to attend the third annual Roni Deutch Tax Center Franchise Convention on May 20th-22nd, 2010 at the Peppermill Resort, Spa and Casino in Reno, Nevada, but now as part of the Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise team.
"I am so thrilled to be attending my second Roni Deutch Tax Center Franchise convention, but this time as an actual franchise owner within the system," said Ifidro Alejandrez. "Being actively sought out by Roni and her staff made me and Norma feel extremely special, and after learning about the year-round potential for success, ongoing franchise support, and national branding efforts, it was very apparent that we needed to be a part of the Roni Deutch Tax Center family."
Ifidro Alejandrez, who previously ran a tax preparation center that also handled immigration documents in the Reno area for the past few years, decided to open up a Roni Deutch Tax Center because it was easier to join a proven system rather than opening and operating a shop from scratch. The husband and wife team plan to add more Roni Deutch Tax Center locations in the Reno market over the next few years.
This year, the convention's theme is 'Spotlighting Success,' and will host franchise owners from all over the country coming to Reno to go over best practices, leadership, drive, and community spirit. The convention will include keynote speaker, Jim Morris Jr., who inspired the Walt Disney motion picture, "The Rookie." Jim Morris' story is an inspiration to all and he will provide insight on living your dreams.
