Play N Trade stores will be hosting the local rounds of the International Madden NFL Tournament beginning August 21st.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA, July 21, 2010 /Franchise PR News/ -- Play N Trade Franchise Inc, the largest video game franchise worldwide, is excited to host an international Madden NFL 11 tournament at participating Play N Trade stores offering $7000 in prizes thanks to sponsors, EA and Virgin Gaming.
Play N Trade has partnered with EA and Virgin Gaming to offer a $5000 store credit to the 1st place winner. 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishers will also receive a $1000, $500, and $300 store credit, respectively. In addition, local round winners will be automatically entered in a raffle for a chance to win an Xbox 360 Slim.
Madden NFL 10 sold 1.9 million copies in the first month after its release and the franchise is always one of the most anticipated titles year after year.
Players will compete in local rounds starting August 21st at participating stores throughout the U.S. and Canada which lead up to national rounds beginning August 28th. The tournament will be played on the Xbox 360 console and will be organized into a bracket-style single elimination format.
Any player that pre-orders Madden NFL 11 will receive a free tournament entry fee.
