Michaels to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his phenomenal work in the performing arts. As Owner of Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Crows Nest as well as Area Chairperson for both Australia and Japan, Chris has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Arthur Murray International, Inc. is known around the world as a prominent entertainment company with franchises located all over the United States and Canada as well as in Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lebanon and South Africa. They individually craft their programs to fit the needs and desires of each student. Their instructors are specially trained and certified and can put students in touch with today's most popular dances to make them a comfortable social dancer or a competitive hobby dancer.
Mr. Michaels has been with the organization for 20 years. He is a Certified Fellow Examiner and Dance Director, member of the Dance Board and International Dancesport Judges and Teachers Association and also regularly acts as a travelling consultant. He bought the Crows Nest Studio in 1995 and became Area Chairperson in 2005. In 2009, he franchised two more studios and hopes to open another 2 by 2012. Chris is quite passionate about teaching his students and staff the joys of dancing.
